Meet Our Team
DR JOHN ELLA
General Practitioner
Dr. Ella has over 25 years of experience working in hospitals and practices. His special interests include skin cancer, minor surgical procedures, and emergency health. He graduated with Honours from the University of Newcastle in 1996 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr. Ella also worked for the Royal Flying Doctor Service for a number of years in remote communities throughout Australia.
JULIA HASTIE
Psychologist
Julia has been practicing as a psychologist for over 20 years. She takes a person-centred approach to therapy, utilising the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy.
ERIN CARROLL
General Practitioner
Dr. Carroll is a dedicated General Practitioner with a passion for women's health. Graduating with honours from the University of Melbourne in 2013, she completed her internship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and gained extensive experience in the Northern Territory within remote communities. Dr. Carroll specialises in IUD insertions, pregnancy options, menopause consultations, and general health needs for women and children.
MADDISON
Practice Manager
Maddison’s philosophy is to provide the highest quality patient care in an environment that people feel safe and comfortable. She often shares her time between the front reception and administration office, playing a vital role in the day-to-day running of the practice.
MARGARET HOBBS
Administration
Margaret is our friendly receptionist and is always happy to assist you in a professional manner with appointment bookings, payments and any queries you may have.
INDIA LATIMORE
General Practitioner
Dr. Latimore is a compassionate General Practitioner with a comprehensive approach to patient care. She graduated from The University of Newcastle in 2017 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. With experience in diverse practices and hospitals across Newcastle and the Mid North Coast, including Aboriginal Health and Women's Health, she excels in chronic disease management and preventative medicine for all ages.

General Practice
Including Skin Checks, Skin Cancer Surgery and General Medical Treatment, Men and Women’s health, Minor surgical procedures and joint injections, Antenatal shared care, ECG Heart Checks, Spirometry, Employment medicals, Travel medicine, Smoking cessation advice and other health services.
Skin Cancer
Dr Ella has undertaken further training in the treatment of skin cancer. He is able to provide a comprehensive skin check and give the most up to date information on skin protection. Dr Ella holds qualifications in the assessment, diagnosis, removal, treatment and follow up of skin cancers.
